Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Catholic University of São Paulo (2007). Master (2011) and PhD (current) in Physiology and Biophysics at Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (ICB-USP) with a PhD-sandwich period at Yale University (2016). She has experience in Physiology area, where she worked in the following areas: obesity, diabetes, fat diet, insulin signaling pathways, natural probiotics and gut microbioma. She operates projects investigating the mechanisms responsible for regulation of insulin metabolism, obesity and diabetes. She was part of one of the most renowned world centers of metabolic and phenotypic studies in vivo in mice at Yale University.
