Chemical Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Uberlândia, with international experience gained during an academic exchange at INSA Rouen Normandie, France. Completed a master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the State University of Campinas, during which he undertook an internship at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Holds a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Materials Engineering at the Lorena School of Engineering, USP (2017). Has expertise in the in situ synthesis of clay-reinforced polymeric nanocomposites, employing techniques such as radical polymerization in dispersed media (miniemulsion and emulsion polymerizations), controlled radical polymerization (RAFT), and solution adsorption. Also has teaching experience, having worked as a professor in the undergraduate Chemical Engineering program at the Centro Universitário de Formiga and as a collaborating professor in postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Engineering in Sorocaba. Currently, conducting postdoctoral research at Embrapa Instrumentação (São Carlos/SP), focusing on the reuse of by-products from fruit processing for the production of bioplastic films intended for food packaging.
