Caroline Malagutti Fassina

PhD student at University of Campinas, Master in Environmental Integrated Analysis at the Federal University of São Paulo and graduated at São Paulo State University in Marine Biology with specialization in Coastal Management. I work at the Enviromental Agengy of Santos muncipality, since 2011. Over a decade that gaves me solid expertise on environmental management, enhanced by daily in-ground inspections in areas such as: the Brazilian biggest port, the Atlantic forest and Santos' estuary. I was also a Counseleur of São Paulo's Marine Protected Area, and attended two workshops from Bitrish Council about ecosytem-based managament and community empowerment projects. My researches go along with Ecological Economics and Politcal Ecology, totally focused on a interdisciplary approach, and applicability in local public policies.
