Felipe Furlan is Associate Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department of the Federal University of São Carlos, where he works since 2016. His PhD in Chemical Engineering was at Federal University of São Carlos (2009). His research activities focus on the modeling, simulation, optimization and technical-economic analysis of processes. His is interested in several industrial processes, sucha as biofuel production (with emphasis on bioethanol from biomass), lead-acid battery production, among others. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
