She holds a degree in Chemistry (2011) from Institute of Chemistry - São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a postgraduate degree, Master's (2014) and PhD (2018) in Materials Chemistry from the same institution. She held a postdoctoral degree (2019-2020) at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), developing her activities in collaboration with the Institute of Chemistry (UNESP) and University of Araraquara (UNIARA). Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), working mainly on the following topics: Plastics and Bioplastics Recycling; Circular Economy; Waste Pickers Cooperatives; Social Innovation Lab. She has a background in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Inorganic Chemistry, Bio-Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Materials/Biomaterials Chemistry. She also works on the following topics: organic-inorganic hybrids, composites and nanocomposites; peptides and biosensors; polymers; biopolymers: silk fibroin and sericin, bacterial cellulose, cellulose nanocrystals (whiskers); cellulose, propolis and collagen hydrogels; fluorescence spectroscopy; luminescent nanoparticles; and nanoparticles with biocidal activity.
