Pedro William Paiva Moreira Júnior

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2012), a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2015), and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (2019). Completed part of the Ph.D. at the INP Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology E.V. (Greifswald, Germany) (2019). Also completed a postdoctoral position at São Paulo State University, Guaratinguetá campus (2020-2022). Developed a postdoctoral project linked to the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), São José dos Campos (2023-2025). Has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on Plasma Physics, Electric Discharges, Vacuum Technology, Cold Plasmas, Thermal Plasmas, Surfaces, and Interfaces, working primarily in the following areas: capacitive discharges, transferred arc discharges, waste treatment, thin films, surface characterization, biomaterials, electric discharges, gas analysis, mass spectrometry, optical emission spectroscopy, and Langmuir probes.
