PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo. Master (2013) and Bachelor (2010) in Philosophy from the same University. I was a visiting researcher at Columbia University (2016) and at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, at Harvard University (2018). I did a post-doctoral internship in Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2018-2020), exploring methodological issues related to social sciences. I am currently a researcher at the Center for Artificial Intelligence (IBM-Fapesp-USP) and postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo. The project in which I work aims to build a complex system, capable of offering answers that involve causes and explanations. Main research areas are: Philosophy, with an emphasis on philosophy of science, philosophy of language, and logic; Artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.
