After graduation and Ms at the Universities of Mainz and Kiel, I achieved my PhD in Zoology at he University of Hamburg (Germany) in 2007. Currently I am an assistent professor at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo. In general, I am interested in the effects of different anthorpogenic land uses on the the ditribution of species. I am experienced in Ecology, acting primarily in the following areas: Community Ecology, Population Ecology, Landscape, Ecology, effects of habitat loss and -fragmentation.
