Holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2003), and a Master degree in Architecture and Urbanism (1997) from the University of São Paulo - Brazil, and bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - Brazil (1979). She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Construction Engineering of Polytechnic School University of São Paulo, Brazil. She has experience in Thermal Comfort and Air Quality in buildings, HVAC Systems, Technologies for Underfloor air distribution, individualized thermal comfort and radiant panels, energy efficiency of buildings, Green Roof, Building Performance Simulation, Building Energy Efficiency, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Automation and control systems applied to HVAC.
