Dr. Allan Pinto is a Researcher of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). He received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2011, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the same university, in 2018. A part of his doctoral was accomplished at the University of Notre Dame, USA, in which he worked on different topics such as Presentation Attack Detection in Biometric Systems, Content-based Image Retrieval, and Multimedia Forensics. Currently, Dr. Allan is a member of the editorial board of the Forensic Science International: Reports, the IEEE Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee (IFS-TC), and the IEEE Signal Processing Society Education Center Editorial Board. His research interests include Image and Video Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Multimedia Forensics, Biometrics, and Sports Science. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
