Allan Pinto is a Researcher at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), and a member of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS). He received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2011, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the same university, in 2018. A part of his doctoral was accomplished at the University of Notre Dame, USA, in which he worked on different topics such as Presentation Attack Detection in Biometric Systems, Content-based Image Retrieval, and Multimedia Forensics. Currently, Dr. Allan is a member of the editorial board of the Forensic Science International: Reports, a member of the IEEE, and also a member of IEEE Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee (IFS-TC) of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. His research interests include Image and Video Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Multimedia Forensics, Biometrics, and Sports Science. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
