Universidade São Francisco (USF). Campus Bragança Paulista  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I am an assistant professor at Universidade São Francisco (Bragança Paulista, Brazil), since 2018, leading a research group for metabolomics analysis using mass spectrometry technologies for cancer diagnosis and health-related research. My research aims at investigating new diagnostics methods for different cancers types (such as breast, cervix, and brain), using classical metabolomics (LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS) and more recent ambient imaging MS techniques. I am also part of an international collaborative project aiming at detecting COVID-19 using the new MasSpec Pen Technology. My trajectory: I am a chemist with a background in Analytical Chemistry, focused on Mass Spectrometry (MS) applied to Life Sciences. I concluded my Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (2018), Master?s Degree (2012), and graduation (2008) at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil), under the supervision of Prof. Marcos N. Eberlin. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
