CV Lattes ResearcherID

Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Centro de Biologia Molecular e Engenharia Genética (CBMEG)  (Institutional affiliation for the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Pedro is bachelor in Biotechnology, industrial modality, for the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and finished in 2009. He has been an intern and cientific initiation student for 2 years at UFSCar and for 6 monts at Food Engineering College (FEA) of State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Currently is a ph.D in Genetics and Molecular biology and undergraduate in Economic Sciences, both at UNICAMP. His phD thesis is being developed at Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Center (CBMEG) under the orientation of Prof. Dr. Paulo Arruda. The current academic research is focused on the mechanism of mitochondrial-nuclear communication and its relationship with stress response in plants. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
