Mariana Ruiz Lauar

bachelor's in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from Sao Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" of the Araraquara Campus in 2012. PhD in Physiology from the Joint Graduate Program in Physiological Sciences UFSCar/UNESP, with emphasis on cardiovascular physiology at the department of Physiology and Pathology, Dentistry School, UNESP under supervision of Prof José Vanderlei Menani in 2017. She did a post-doctorate in Cardiovascular Physiology with an emphasis on arterial hypertension at the Dept. of Physiology and Pathology, Dentistry School, UNESP under the supervision of Prof.José Vanderlei Menani. She was a postdoc visitor at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Dr. John Osborn. She is currently a Research Associate at the University of Minnesota. She has experience in Cardiovascular Physiology, working mainly in the study of arterial hypertension and mechanisms involving oxidative stress, sympathetic activity, inflammation and renal nerves.
