João Vergílio made his undergraduate studies at USP (finished in 1987) and got his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the same university (1993). He deals with Wittgenstein's philosophy in general, with a special emphasis on the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and the so-called "intermediate period" (running fron 1929 until 1933 approximately). He teaches philosophy of language and history of contemporary philosophy at the University of Sao Paulo. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
