PhD and Master in Chemistry at Universidade Estadual Paulista, campus Araraquara and Bachelor in Chemistry with technological assignments at Universidade Federal de São Carlos. I had a postdoctoral position at the University of Waterloo in Professor Holger Kleinke?s research group. In my project, I studied the development of thermoelectric materials based on Bi doped Magnesium Silicides Stannides compounds using Solid State method. Currently, I have a postdoctoral position at LNNano/CNPEM in collaboration with University of Waterloo. The project aims the development of techniques that assist in improving the thermoelectric properties of oxides such as tin oxide. During my scientific career, I had experience in synthesis of oxides nano and microstructured (Sn, Zn, Cu, titanates, and zirconates) and doping with rare earth (Eu, Sm) using conventional hydrothermal, microwave hydrothermal, and polymeric precursors methods. In addition, I had experience in growth of perovskite oxides thin films through Pulsed Laser deposition method and spin-coating technique, and production of polymer/ceramic composite as multifunctional materials. The composite films were formed by the junction of ceramic powders with poly vinylidene fluoride polymer by hot pressing method. Regarding characterization techniques, I have used several through my research career, including Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, X ray diffraction, FT Raman, photoluminescence spectroscopy, Rietveld refinement, electrical conductivity, piezoelectricity analysis, Thermogravimetry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry, and thermoelectric property measurement techniques. I worked as a researcher at Kosmoscience Science and Technology Cosmetics Company for three years after my PhD degree. At this company, I developed and implemented effective assessment methodologies of cosmetic products for hair and home care, using physical chemistry analysis, e.g. Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. I wrote proposals, executed and reported studies as well as I wrote scientific and technical materials. During my entire research career, I have collaborated with new students, by supporting and supervising them to develop their projects. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
