Mirella Rossitto Zanutto

Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho UNESP (2012), a Masters degree in General and Applied Biology, with a focus on Food Microbiology, from UNESP (2015), a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, with emphasis on Bioprocesses and Biochemistry, from UNESP (2019), and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Department of Biological Sciences (Biochemistry), UNESP (2020). She also earned an MBA in Business Management from UniLasalle (2022) and an MBA in Life Coaching from Galícia Educação, in association with IOC Harvard Medical School (2024).Has experience in the production of microbial enzymes through solid-state fermentation, as well as in the production and characterization of bioactive compounds applicable to human and animal health. Served as a collaborating professor in graduate and extension courses in Biochemistry, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation.Founder of the biotechnology startup Pepzyme Biotecnologia and the consulting and training company Skyrus Consultoria Inovação. Worked as Principal Researcher at Pepzyme Biotecnologia (20192020), Local Innovation Agent at Sebrae-SP (20202022), Project Advisor at a national Digital Marketing company (2022), Senior Advisor (N6) in the ALI Productivity Program at Sebrae-SP (20222024), business consultant at Skyrus and Sebrae-SP, and DeepTech Startup Consultant at Wylinka (2024), in programs carried out by Sebrae for Startups (Start DeepTech, Lab Vendas) and by ABStartups (2025).Currently serves as a Monitor of the Export Qualification Program (PEIEX Sebrae/Apex-Brasil, 2025).
