Juliana Pfrimer Falcão graduated at Pharmaceutical Science School of Universidade Estadual Paulista (FCFAR- UNESP) in Brazil (1997) and she obtained the Master degree in Applied Microbiology (2000) at the same University. She got her Ph.D. in Science with focus on Pathogenic Bioagents (2004) and did her Postdoctoral in Genetics of Microorganisms (2006) at Medical School of Ribeirão Preto of Universidade de São Paulo-USP (FMRP-USP) in Brazil. Also, during her Ph.D. She did a training program in Molecular Biology as a Researcher Fellow Junior at Southwestern Medical Center - University of Texas in the United States (2003). Currently, she holds the position of Associate Professor at Pharmaceutical Science School of Ribeirão Preto at Universidade de São Paulo-USP, Brazil. The major research field of her laboratory has been in molecular epidemiology, virulence, genomics and transcriptomic of Gram-negative enteropathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella spp., Campylobacter spp., Yersinia spp., and Shigella spp. besides other bacteria of clinical interest. Supervise master and PhD students in the Graduation Program of Biosciences and Biotechnology of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto.-University of Sao Paulo (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
