Food engineer since 2006. MSc and PhD in Food Engineering College (University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Brazil). Currently, holds a research position at the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). Former postdoc at LNBR/CNPEM and at the Engineering and Public Policy of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Student Council Representative for the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) in 2009 and 2010. Research topics: economic, social and environmental impact assessment, techno-economic analysis, input-output analysis, life cycle assessment, environmental and socioeconomic impacts of technologies, modeling and simulation, land-use change, biogeochemical cycles, environmental valuation, ecosystem services.
