Graduation at Engenharia Mecânica from Universidade Federal de Itajubá (1994), master's at Production Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá (1998) and doctorate at Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2004). He is currently full professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Has experience in Production Engineering, focusing on Decision Making Methods, acting on the following subjects: ahp, auxílio à decisão, qualidade, gerência da qualidade and múltiplos critérios.
