Coordinator of the USP-COFECUB Project, in partnership with Université Bordeaux Montaigne, entitled "Family memory and heritage: ancient and medieval societies" (2019-2023).He is a specialist of preanthropogenic societies on the European continent between the 5th and 15th centuries, with an emphasis to social respondes to famine and scarcity.
