Holds a degree in Dentistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), completed in 2002, and a Master's and Doctorate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. She has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Pediatric Dentistry, also working in the areas of Endodontics, Microbiology and Care for Patients with Special Needs. She helds a Post-Doctorate at the Forsyth Institute, at Harvard University in Boston in the United States. She is currently a Full Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo. Since 2014, she has been the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at FORP-USP (CAPES 6). She was President of the Graduate Commission of FORP/USP between 2019 and 2022. Additionally, she is the Coordinator of the Double Doctoral Degree Agreement between FORP/USP and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM) in addition to the Academic Cooperation Agreement between FORP/USP and the University of Illinois at Chicago - USA. In her academic career, she has published more than 200 scientific articles and several chapters of national and international books, in addition to having contributed to the training of human resources at the undergraduate, lato and stricto sensu graduate level (master's, doctorate) and postgraduate levels.
