Cintia Borges Margi is Professor of the Computer and Digital Systems Engineering Department at Escola Politécnica Universidade de São Paulo (EPUSP). She joined the department as an Assistant Professor in 2010, and then was an Associate Professor from 2015 until July 2023.Before that, from 2007 to 2010, she was an Assistant Professor with the Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades da Universidade de São Paulo (EACH-USP). Prof. Margi received her Electrical Engineering degree in 1997 and M.S. degree in 2000 both from Escola Politécnica Universidade de São Paulo (EPUSP), São Paulo, Brazil, the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA, USA, in 2006, and the Habilitation (Livre Docência) degree in Computer Networks from the Universidade de São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2015. Her research interests include: wireless sensor networks, security and software-defined networking. Prof. Margi has published over 100 papers, and coordinated research projects funded by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation, São Paulo, Brazil). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
