Associate Professor, Department of of Surgery, Medical Sciences School, State University of Campinas. Graduated in Medical Sciences at the State University of Campinas (2001), specialization in General Surgery (2004) and Coloproctology (2006). MSc (2007) and PhD (2009) in Surgery at the University of Campinas. Postdoctoral held by the FCM Cell Signaling Laboratory / UNICAMP in the period 2010-2011; Visiting professor and Postdoctoral at the University of Chicago in 2012. Post doctorate from the Institut D'Investigacions August Pi i Sunyer Biomèdiques, Hospital Clínic, University of Barcelona in the period 2012 to 2014. Associate Professor in Coloproctology UNICAMP since 2015. Member of the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology. Member of the Brazilian Federation of Gastroenterology, the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS) and honorary member of the Brazilian Association of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease (ABCD). Member of the Study Group of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Brazil (GEDIIB) and the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
