He is a researcher at the "Atrocity Preventions Responsibility to Protect" project between the Columbia Global Policy Initiative (CGPI) and the United Nations Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect. ISA's Additional Representative at the United Nations (UN) in New York (2014 and 2017) and Geneva (2017). He was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) at University of Ottawa (Canada), and a visiting student at Central European University (Hungary) in 2017, and at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 2019. Member of the DS+ group at the Friends of Europe. President of the General Assembly and Coordinator of the Working Group on Protection of Civilians at the Brazilian Research Network in Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ).
