I received the B.Sc. Degree in Information Systems from the São Paulo State University, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2011, and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the same university in 2013. Currently, I'm pursuing my Ph.D. degree in computer science at the University of Campinas with the Institute of Computing. My research focuses on the areas of machine learning, computer vision, graph-based algorithms, and transfer learning, with a particular interest in domain adaptation systems. Our ultimate objective in this research is to infer the chronological ordering of a pair of related images. Given a pair of images with the same semantic context, we aim at pinpointing which one belongs to an earlier moment in time, no matter their capture conditions or what scene they depict.
