Professor Carmem Beatriz Neufeld has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of the Campaign Region, a Masters in Social and Personality Psychology from the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. She is currently Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of São Paulo. She operates within a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy framework in the area of psychopathology in children and adolescents. She oversees the Graduate Program in Psychology, Department of Psychology at the same University and coordinates the Research Laboratory and Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention - LaPICC. She is Past-President of the Brazilian Federation of Cognitive Therapies (FBTC). Her teaching has been in Psychological Treatment and Prevention, Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Processes, Memory and Emotion and Psychopathology.
