Undergraduate in Medicine at Escola Paulista de Medicina / Federal University of São Paulo (1983), Medical Residency in Dermatology, UNIFESP (1987), Master of Medicine (Dermatology) UNIFESP (1992), Doctor of Medicine (PhD) (Dermatology) UNIFESP (1995). Title of Assistant étrangère by Université Paris VII in France. Specialist in Dermatology and Practice Area Certificate in Hansenology by the Brazilian Medical Association. Postdoctoral held in the Universität Münster in Germany (1999). She is currently titular professor and vice-chief in the Department of Dermatology, EPM / UNIFESP. She has students in the Post-graduation Program Translational Medicine / UNIFESP, (master / doctoral) and undergraduate research. She coordinates the Outpatient group of dermatoses in solid organ transplant recipients and is member at Leprosy group. Having participated in the Dermatoses in Indigenous People and Mycoses / Leishmaniasis Groups. She is effective member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is reviewer in national and international scientific journals, and referee of the research funding agencies. She has experience in the area of ​​medicine, with emphasis on dermatology, specially on the following topics: leprosy and skin diseases in the solid organ transplant recipients.
