He graduated in Food Engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia in 1995. He obtained a Masters in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1999 and a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2006. He is a Specialist in University Management at Centro Universitário São Camilo. He was Program Leader of the Food Engineering and Chemical Engineering Programes at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia between 2009 and 2012. Since July 2012 he has been Dean of Escola de Engenharia Mauá. Since 2014 he has been Academic Pro-Rector of the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. He has been a member of the Global Engineering Deans Council - GEDC since 2019 and an elected member of its executive committee with a term of office from 2022 to 2024. He is part of the Research Group on Particle Systems of the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. Has published works in the field of fluid dynamics, drying, agglomeration and coating of particles in fluidized beds. He was Managing Partner at Zelus, a company dedicated to the development of products and processes for the pharmaceutical industry, incubated at the Incubator Center for Technological Companies, CIETEC. He was a partner at Algo a Mais Indústria de Produtos Alimentícios Ltda., a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of products for sports nutrition. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
