Has experience in Electric Engineering, focusing on Control of Electronic Processes, Feedback, acting on the following subjects: caos, dinamica nao linear, controle, chaos and sincronização. Worked as postdoc at University of Maryland Chaos Group unde the supervision of Prof. Celso Grebogi, Prof. Ed Ott and Prof. Jams Yorke. He is Full Professor at Institute for Science and Technology of the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil. He is Associate Editor for International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos; International Journal of Dynamics and Control; Discontinuity, Nonlinearity, and Complexity; Frontiers in Computacional Neuroscience; Entropy.
