Bachelor of Animal Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1987), Master in Animal Science from the Federal University of Viçosa (1992) and PhD in Aquaculture from the São Paulo State University (UNESP) Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1998). Post Doctoral at the University of Arkansas, USA (2001-2002) and Higher Internship at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (2010). Accredited by the Graduate Program of Aquaculture Center at UNESP, professor advisor of Master and Doctoral students, as well as supervising Post-Doctoral Internships. Has experience in Animal Science, with an emphasis on fish nutrition, requirements and feed assessment for monogastric animals, mainly in the following subjects: evaluation of feed and additives for cut and ornamental fish and nutrient efficiencies of diets. He was editor of the book Nutrition of Non-Ruminan ets, 2014 (ed. FUNEP) and author of the following publications: Introduction to Fish Production - Questions and Answers, 2013; Introduction to the Commercial Production of Ornamental Fish, 2013 and Fish & Pay - Basic Principles of the Activity, 2017. He was principal investigator of the Thematic Project, financed by FAPESP, "Modeling the production and nutritional requirements of poultry and fish". He also coordinated research projects funded by SEAP and CNPq. He has developed several research projects with private national and international companies to assess the potential of products in animal feed. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
