Vera Lucia Messias Fialho Capellini

Researcher Professor Productivity (CNPQ), graduated in Pedagogy from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1991), Master (2001) and PhD (2004) in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos. In 2012 she did a Post-Doctorate at the University of Alcalá, Spain, from which she defended her Post-Doctorate in Inclusive Education in 2014. Head Professor of the Department of Education, Postgraduate Program in Psychology of Development and Learning and the Professional Master's Degree Program in Teaching for Basic Education, FC/UNESP- Bauru. Director of the Faculty of Sciences - FC/UNESP-Bauru (2021-2025). Has experience in Education, with emphasis on initial and continuing education of teachers, teaching practice, school inclusion and educational assessment. Leader of the Research Group: The inclusion of people with disabilities, TGD and overdotation and the contexts of learning and development. She is a member of the International Observatory of Inclusion, Interculturality and Pedagogical Innovation (OIIIIPe); both registered in CNPQ. She is a member of the Diversity, Disability and Social and Educational Inclusion Research Group at the Universidad de Alcalá - Spain. President of the organizing committee of the I,II,III,IV and V Brazilian Congress of Education of UNESP Bauru. Coordinated the Improvement Course in Inclusive Educational Practices in partnership with the Ministry of Education from 2008 to 2013. She has coordinated six Specialization courses in Special Education of Redefor, in partnership with SEE/SP and SME/SP.
