Adjunct Coordinator of the Brazilian National Research Ethics Committee - Conep, member of the Research Ethics Committee of HCFMUSP - CAPPesq and effective member of the Bioethics Committee of HCor - Hospital do Coração, member of the Technical Chamber of Gynecology and Obstetrics of CREMESP. Acts as an evaluator of higher education by CAMEM-Commission for Monitoring Medical Schools of MEC and by INEP / Ministry of Education. She holds a degree in Medicine from USP (1987), a Master's degree in Medicine from USP (1995), a PhD in Medicine from USP (2000), Habilitation in Obstetrics from USP (2002). She has a degree in Law from Universidade do Grande ABC (2006), is a lawyer from OAB-SP, specialization in Medical Law from Escola Paulista de Direito (2009) and specialization in Administrative and Constitutional Law from Escola Paulista de Direito (2012). He has experience in the area of Medicine and Law, with an emphasis on Maternal and Child Health, working mainly on the following topics: childbirth care, maternal nutrition, hemopathies during pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, abortion, research ethics, professional ethics and medical teaching .
