Received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2010, with a specialty in Molecular Biology. For three years, her undergraduate research was funded by CNPq, with projects focused on the study of primary immunodeficiencies at the Pediatric Research Center (CIPED) of the Faculty of Medicine of UNICAMP. In 2013, she received a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with research conducted in partnership with Embrapa Meio Ambiente for the development of the methodology and software 'Impactos AGNano', a tool to evaluate the impact of the use of nanotechnology in agriculture. She is currently a PhD student at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) as a member of the Respiratory Infections Group. Conducts clinical trials to evaluate the effects of live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) on the immune responses to experimental pneumococcal colonization in humans. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
