Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences (FFC) of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp), Marília Campus - SP. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy (1996), Master's in Education (2001), Doctorate in Education (2005) and Habilitation in "Teaching in Early Childhood Education" from the same University (2022). Currently, she carries out teaching, research, extension and management activities with the Department of Didactics of the FFC, developing actions in the Pedagogy course and in the Graduate Program in Education. She is part of the "ad hoc" scientific advisory board of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He has experience in the field of Education, with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education, Training and Performance of Teachers in Early Childhood Education and Didactics, working mainly on the following topics: Teaching in Early Childhood Education, Training Teachers for Early Childhood Education, Curriculum, Planning and Assessment in Early Childhood Education, Teaching Practice, Didactics, Early Childhood Education and Development from the perspective of Historical-Cultural Theory. She is leader of the "Group of Studies and Research on Specificities of Teaching in Early Childhood Education"-GEPEDEI and member of the Research Groups: "Pedagogical Implications of Cultural Historical Theory" and "CRIA", registered with CNPq.
