Silvia is an Architect and Full Professor at UNICAMP in Architecture and Urban Design undergraduate Course and in the Graduate Program in Architecture Technology and City, which she was coordinator since its implementation until 2014. Her main interest in research is the Housing Studies for Architectural Design and Public Spaces and Urban Morphology. His works involve: Humaninzing concepts in the architecture design, Urban sustainability; Appropriation of the Public Space, Design Methodos and Participatory Design Processes; Teaching of architecture and post-occupation assessment. In teaching, he acts in architecture theory and design. She holds a master's degree and a PhD from the University of São Paulo. Silvia has carried out research projects in the theme of Housing, Public Space and Urban Design process, with support FINEP / FAPESP / CNPq / FAEP-UNICAMP; she was an associated executor of the DATAHABIS project - FINEP and TICHIS-FINEP, a national research network. She coordinated international agreements for the exchange of undergraduate students and researchers and is a member of the permanent secretariat of the Portuguese-speaking housing network, based in Portugal. She was the Undergraduate Coordinator of the Architecture and Urban Design Course at UNICAMP from 2001 to 2004, having participated in the implementation of the course since 1996. She was the Coordinator of the Final Graduation Work -TFG of the Architecture and Urbanism course of UNICAMP from 2006 to 2008 and 2016. She is the leader of the Habitares research group of CNPq and participates in the Fluxus-Unicamp Laboratory.
