Henrique Takachi Moriya graduated at Electronic Engineering from University of São Paulo (1996), had a master's degree at Electronic Engineering from University of São Paulo (1999), did a Ph.D. stage at University of Vermont (2002), and had Ph.D. degree at Electronic Engineering from University of São Paulo (2003). Nowadays, he is associate professor at Telecommunication and Control Engineering Department of Escola Politécnica of University of São Paulo where he teaches in the undergraduate course of Electrical Engineering and graduate course of Biomedical Engineering. He is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory of the University of São Paulo, and cooperates in researches with laboratories of the School of Medicine of University of São Paulo. He has experience in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Modeling of Biological Systems, acting on the following subjects: respiratory mechanics assessment, forced oscillations technique, mathematical modeling, and biomedical instrumentation in the pulmonary engineering field.
