Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, in 2013/2014.Head of the Pain Therapy and Palliative Care Service at the Clinical Hospital of Botucatu Medical School, Unesp. Served as Deputy Head of the Department of Surgical Specialties and Anesthesiology at Botucatu Medical School (Unesp) during the 20202022 term. Head of the same Department during the 20182020 and 20222024 terms.Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Anesthesiology; Scientific Vice-Director of the São Paulo State Society of Anesthesiology (SAESP) for the 20242026 term; Member of the Palliative Medicine Committee of the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (SBA).Leader of the Research Group Mechanisms and Treatment of Pain.
