Riva Sobrado de Freitas

Graduated in Law, from the University of São Paulo (1982); she got her master's degree (1996) and Ph. D (2003) in Law, from the Pontificial Catholic University of São Paulo. In 2007, she completed her Pos-Doctorate at the University of Coimbra - Portugal. She was Assistant Professor at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (1988-2012). She is currently studying Psychoanalysis with a Freud and Lacan background, at the Brazilian School of Psychoanalysis, and she is pursuing a second Pos-Doctorate in Law, at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She has been a professor and a researcher at the Faculty of Law of UNOESC (Western University of Santa Catarina) since 2011. She is a visiting professor in the Economics and International Relations Course at the UFSC ( Federal University of Santa Catarina) for the discipline:" Human Rights and the construction of gender identity".
