Fabiana Cristina Frigieri de Vitta

PhD in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (2004), MSc in Special Education (Special Individual Education) from the Federal University of São Carlos (1997), undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (1992). She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Education and Human Development at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Marília Campus and in the Postgraduate Program in School Education at Unesp Araraquara, in the line of research Teacher training, teaching work and pedagogical practices. She has experience in Education and Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on Child Development, working mainly on the following subjects: activity and child development, early childhood education, teacher training and teaching practices. She is the coordinator of the Study and Research Group on Activities and Child Development - GEPADI, which develops research and extension projects with early childhood education institutions and teacher training courses.
