Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (2011), master's and doctorate from the graduate program in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology at the University of São Paulo (2013, 2017). Inter-unit doctorate abroad at King's College London, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Gareth J. Barker and Prof. Dr. Flavio Dell'Acqua. I have experience in the field of biomedical engineering and medical physics, with an emphasis on Image Processing, working mainly on the following topics: segmentation and analysis of digital images, non-linear processing of digital images as anomalous spatial filters, and applications in medicine and biology with a focus in magnetic resonance images in several acquisition techniques (DTI, DWI, HARDI, DSI, fMRI and SWI). I am currently working with several digital image processing and analysis applications, mainly dedicated to machine learning, Deep Learning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems.
