Graduated in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (2006), MSc and PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology) at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (2010) and at the Universidade de São Paulo (2015), with research internship period at the Marine Biological Laboratory, USA (2014). Postdoctoral fellowship at the Universidade de São Paulo (2015-2016), with research internship period at the Kitasato University School of Marine Biosciences, Japão (2016). Since 2016 is faculty of the Instituto de Oceanografia of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), working at the Núcleo de Oceanografia Biológica, Laboratório de Zooplâncton. Has experience in marine zooplankton and marine biology with emphasis on biology of gelatinous zooplankton. Interest and research: jellyfish biomechanics, jellyfish blooms, functional morphology, plankton ecology, population dynamics, outbreaks of accidents with toxic jellyfish and trophic ecology.
