Bachelor in Computer Science at the Paulista University (UNIP) (2001), Ph.D. in Genetics at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP), University of São Paulo (USP) (2009) and was Postdoctoral researcher in Bioinformatics applied to bee developmental biology studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP-USP) (2014). During his doctorate, he worked in Bioinformatics applied to Human and Medical Genetics at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP) (2001-2010). He is currently a Professor at the School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV-Unesp) where he works in the Postgraduate Program in Agricultural and Livestock Microbiology, particularly in the lines of research in Genetics and Molecular Biology of Microorganisms and Microbial Ecology. He focused his research on molecular studies of the phytomicrobiota in interaction with the plant and the environment. His experience is in bioinformatics, with emphasis on studies involving "omics" approaches (Genomics, Transcritomics, Metagenomics, Metataxonomics, Epigenomics, etc.). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
