BiographyProf. Maria Cristina Triguero Veloz Teixeira/ CNPq/1D/ Research FellowshipProf. Maria Cristina Triguero Veloz Teixeira completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at School of Psychology, Havana University, Cuba. The Doctoral and Master studies were in Brazil at Santa Catarina Federal University between 1995 and 1999.Dr Teixeira is professor at Graduate Program in Human Developmental Sciences. She was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Developmental Disorders of Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2012-2016); President of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors of Psychology - ABECiPsi (2014-2016); Chief Editor of the Journal Psychology: Theory and Practice (2002-2012); Associated Editor of the Journal Psychology: Theory and Practice and member of the Ethics Committee on Research with Human Beings (2010-2014).Current informations: Pro-Rector of Research at Mackenzie Presbyterian University; member of the ANPEPP (Associação Nacional de Pesquisadores em Psicologia/working at team on autism spectrum disorders: health research and education. Research interests: behavioral psychology focusing applied behavior analysis, assessment and intervention of emotional and behavioral problems in childhood, neurodevelopmental disorders, rare syndromes and intellectual disability, special education.
