Luciana Harumi Morimoto Figueiredo

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo/USP (1999), Masters in Molecular Biology from the University of São Paulo/USP (2003) and PhD in Biotechnology and Biodiversity at the University of Brasília/UnB. It has additional training in the area of intellectual property by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Currently is supervisor and executive secretary of the Local Intellectual Property Committee of the business area of Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology (CENARGEN), working in the area of intellectual property, technological monitoring and asset portfolio management.
