is Ph. D. in Earth System Science at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Master's in Applied Computing also by INPE. It was one of the founders and creators of a pioneering system for monitoring ionospheric scintillation in real time over the Brazilian territory (www.inpe.br / SCINTEC). His research has been the application of computational methods for data analysis in earth sciences: plant physiological ecology, climate change and space weather.
