Efeitos tóxicos dos herbicidas Atrazina e Roundup em Eupemphix nattereri (Leiuperidae) e Rhinella schneideri (Bufonidae): alterações morfológicas sob diferentes concentrações e condições abióticas (pH, temperatura e fotoperíodo)

Resumo

Através de delineamentos experimentais apropriados, esperamos detectar e descrever os efeitos de herbicidas formulados à base de glifosato e atrazina para larvas de E. nattereri e R. schneideri, gerando informações necessárias para avaliar e comprovar a toxicidade de produtos tão utilizados em nossa região (noroeste de SP) e em todo modelo atual da agricultura no Brasil e no mundo. Além disso, também esperamos avaliar a susceptibilidade dessas diferentes espécies aos agrotóxicos e demonstrar a interação dos fatores abióticos com a utilização desses compostos, defendendo a hipótese de que as modificações das condições ambientais podem afetar sua toxicidade. Especificamente, acreditamos que os herbicidas apresentem toxicidade aos organismos em diferentes níveis induzindo malformações nas larvas e alterações morfofisiológicas sistêmicas, para as gônadas deverá interferir no desenvolvimento normal dos indivíduos, afetando a reprodução do indivíduo. No Brasil não há dados sobre estes contaminantes e, em decorrência do uso abusivo de agrotóxicos provavelmente estamos afetando a reprodução das espécies. (AU)
