Resumo

Este projeto temático pretende investigar diferentes sistemas coloidais complexos formados a partir da associação de surfactantes, polímeros e nanopartículas. Enfatizaremos estudos visando ao melhor entendimento dos processos de associação envolvidos, da elucidação estrutural destes sistemas e de suas propriedades, inclusive visando a aplicações. Dentre os sistemas investigados estão micelas gigantes, nanopartículas com núcleos liquido-cristalinos, nanopartículas de silica superficialmente modificadas e metálicas com características Janus, copolímeros-bloco de arquitetura controlada, hidrogeis e sistemas coloidais de petróleo formados por asfaltenos.
