The study of topological quantum matter is at heart of very recent development in several different branches of physics. This is a rich and rapidly evolving field whose far-reaching impact was recognized by the Nobel Prize in Physics 2016. To adequately cover such broad field, we invited 06 world-renowned researchers working on different topology related problems. We consider a five-day program with 03 blackboard tutorials, 03 plenary talks, 05 invited talks, 02 poster sections, and special events (e.g. to discuss FAPESP funding opportunities). The tutorial and plenary speakers have confirmed their willingness to attend the workshop, while also encouraging their graduate students and postdocs to attend. The seminars will be delivered by the organizers covering topics of ongoing research at our Institute. We believe our tentative program is broad enough to be appealing to graduate students with distinct backgrounds within Condensed Matter Theory, Quantum Optics, and Quantum Information and that our proposed Workshop should stimulate students and researchers to expand their research horizons to tackle exciting new problems in the literature.
