Ícaro Augusto Maccari Zelioli

Graduated Chemical Engineer at School of Chemical Engineering of University of Campinas on February 2017. Graduated "Chemistry Technician" at Escola Técnica de Paulínia on August, 2011. I have worked in two research groups, both related to Natural Products Area. At the first, the Division of Natural Products Chemistry (Pluridisciplinar Center of Chemical, Biological and Agricultural CPQBA - University of Campinas), I have worked with Mentha spp. essential oil extractions. The main goal of the work was to study and analyse the variation in chemical composition and essential oil amounts due to diferent ambient conditions. At the second research group, the Applied Thermodynamics and Equilibrium Laboratory (School of Food Engineering - University of Campinas), I have worked with supercritical extraction of pharmacologic interested compounds. I have also some experience at the industry, where I have worked as Process Internship Student, at White Martins Gases Industrais. There, I have worked on the routine process of LNG (Liquified Naural Gás) production and its applications in special projects developed with clientes, such as Volvo. Finally, I have some experince with Project Engineering too, as I have worked as a Project Auxiliar, drawing plants, isometric views, PFD and PID. Today, my focus of work and research is the application of Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms in improving chemical processes. Specifically, I research how the traditional engineering models can be improved by using interpretable data approach - i.e., the model hybridization technique. I have performed two studies about this theme, modeling high uncertain phenomena, such as heat exchanger fouling and catalyst deactivation (Fonte: Currículo Lattes)
