Agraciado com Medalha de Comemoração dos Vinte Anos do CAPES/COFECUB (1999), Pesquisador homenageado no V CIBIA, Puerto Vallarta, México (2005), e no ICEF11, Atenas, Grécia (2011), e agraciado com "IAEF Lifetime Achievement Award", ICEF12, Quebec, Canadá (2015).
